This is an exciting opportunity for an internal communications professional to join a fast-growing, innovative company. Reporting into the VP Global Communications, in this role you'll be responsible for building our internal communications strategy and implementing it in HQ and our new markets around the world.

This is an independent contributor role within the communications team and you'll work closely with our HQ and our international teams to set the internal comms strategy and help connect our employees to our mission as we continue to grow. You'll have experience handling internal comms in-house for well-known brands and/or startups, and be comfortable working with executives, and exploring different communications channels and tactics. You'll be expected to contribute to wider communications efforts such as reputation management, message development and speech writing.

- Work closely with both the VP Global Communications and Chief People Officer, other leaders and business units (People, Marketing, Tech etc.) to implement successful communications programmes that reflect Bulb's global strategic and cultural aims

- Work across departments, ensuring consistency and standards for communications reaching internal audiences

- Develop and manage the internal communications strategy as well as an engagement programme for our leadership team

- Ensure organisational initiatives and projects are thoughtfully and successfully communicated to employees

- Draft scripts and talking points and written communications from our leadership team and other stakeholders

- Gather and develop stories and initiatives to be shared with the global team

- Ensure our internal communications is consistent with our external communications strategy

- Manage our internal communication response to situations which may affect the reputation of our business


- You have at least 6 years of communications experience, including in house experience

- You have experience project managing multiple important programmes or initiatives simultaneously

- You have experience working across different international markets

- You have a proven track record of working with senior leaders to advise on communications strategy while also delivering at the tactical/operational level - you should be able to create a strategy as well as work to implement it

- You have experience communicating to diverse groups in an inclusive and accessible manner

- You have excellent writing, editing, presentation and digital content creation skills

- You're exceptionally well organised and can move long-term projects forwards while dealing with immediate priorities

- You've worked in a fast-growing company, are comfortable working with ambiguity and see opportunity in change

- You show good judgment and would be an ambassador for our values at Bulb
