The Global Risk Management function is critical to ensuring the appropriate dedicated and experienced resources are in place to provide firms and network leadership with comfort that these activities are carried out responsibly.

Global Technology & Operations Risk Management is a group within Global Risk Management that is critical to providing firms and network leadership with comfort that global sponsored programmes, technology and projects are carried out responsibly.

You will manage a portfolio of projects and work closely with project teams and global SMEs, to deliver high quality, timely advice and practical, risk-based solutions that assist the business to manage and minimise risk.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills
  • Understanding of technology and information security concepts and designs to support risk evaluation efforts;
  • Building credibility, and influencing and managing expectations through collaboration with supporting team/project leaders and internal subject matter specialists on risk consultations;
  • Building network skills, and proven ability to establish, build and maintain new relationships;
  • Demonstrating communication skills, particularly with regards to facilitating, writing and presenting cogently to all levels of stakeholders;
  • Demonstrating agility, and the ability to assimilate information quickly, while managing, and working comfortably within, ambiguity and changes of direction;
  • Exhibiting critical thinking and logical reasoning to develop strategies to solve complex challenges;
  • Demonstrating organizational skills in order to manage multiple priorities;
  • Displaying flexibility to adjust to multiple demands and ability to shift priorities;
  • Taking ownership where required and working autonomously to drive and deliver results, while using sound judgement in escalating issues to leadership;
  • Exhibiting track record of delivering to tight deadlines;
  • Understanding risk management policy and technology risk management;
  • Navigating engagement lifecycle and the role of risk management;
  • Understanding technology and information security controls and design principles;
  • Managing data privacy and data protection principles;
  • Navigating PwC network and understanding how it operates; and
  • Understanding global technology implementations.
