As a Station Operations and Commercial Graduate at HS2 you will provide support to the Stations Operations Lead South in the creation and delivery of the programme, that will ensure Old Oak Common and Euston station are delivered according to operational and commercial requirements. You will also support the revised design development of Euston Station as a joint project with Network Rail and manage the reporting of the stations programme.

At HS2 we offer a two-year rotational graduate programme, providing you with the opportunity to stretch and challenge yourself across various programme related placements. This programme is designed around enabling you to get as much experience as possible across different teams within HS2.

About the role:
  • Supporting the Team in the redefinition of requirements for Euston Station.
  • Working with retail consultants to assist in the development of the commercial offer at both Old Oak Common and Euston stations.
  • Lead the ongoing programme of consumer research to inform the development of Operational and Commercial plans.
  • Manage the input and reporting of the Stations Operations and Commercial Development Programme.
  • Actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.


About You:
  • Planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and deliver day to day tasks.
  • Ability to coordinate and deliver multiple tasks and responsibilities in accordance with agreed deadlines.
  • Communication skills and the ability to develop relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to convert technical information into a format that is understandable to a variety of non-technical audiences in a persuasive and engaging way.
  • Ability to understand complex issues to carry out problem solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across a multidisciplinary team and with stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop creative ideas to promote continuous improvement.
  • Ability to apply logical thinking to operational and commercial plans.


  • 2:1 Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline.
  • Ability to manage and report programmes using MS Project.
  • IT knowledge including Word, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent.
Type of experience:

  • Experience of engaging stakeholders.
