Head of Development & Treasury
Leading the treasury, business planning and development finance processes, you will provide expert insight for the Senior Leadership and Executive Teams and challenge to the development and operational teams to ensure robust treasury management, accuracy of the 30 year financial plan and the individual scheme appraisals.
You will be responsible to develop and maintain an accurate 30 year financial plan taking account of planned and current business activities and ensure the production of accurate and timely financial information to the Executive Team and wider business. This will include modelling and forecasting and business development projects and stock acquisitions to ensure accurate budgets throughout the 30 year planning period.
Whilst leading and managing a team, you will take the lead to provide technical expertise in treasury, the development of the BRIXX model and appraisal and monitoring of projects through the Proval and Sequel packages, ensuring they are fit for the needs of the business. This will include identifying and leading best practice to the treasury, business planning and project appraisal processes, developing an extensive network of external contacts to keep abreast of improvements to ensure we continue to deliver efficiencies and value for money.
You should have experience of housing finance, including in the specialist areas of treasury, business planning and project appraisal and developing. It is essential you have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management teams. Excellent report writing skills to ensure the development and production of high quality financial performance information is critical to this role. You should be qualified with a recognised accounting body or equivalent qualification or experience. This post is primarily based in our Manchester office with travel to our Accrington and Liverpool office as required.
