The Workforce Transformation Team ensures that workplaces support the highest quality learning culture and by doing this ensures that the new workforce can integrate seamlessly and effectively with the current workforce. Education programmes will be transformational in terms of what our trainees and students learn, how they learn and where they learn.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with in-depth experience and expert knowledge in the areas of education transformation as detailed in the job description and person specification. This position will report to the Deputy Regional Director for the East of England.

The successful candidate will be responsible for directly supporting the Deputy Regional Director, Regional Director and senior leadership team in ensuring that Health Education England's workforce priorities are delivered with appropriate governance and quality management.

They will drive and support a positive culture of multi-professional learning, teamwork and workforce transformation. The postholder will also be responsible for providing leadership to the Regional Workforce Transformation Team as it strives to provide expert support to the education programmes and their commissioning across the East of England.

The role will also lead on policy development on issues relating to education transformation and will work closely with other functions to lead the delivery of national and regional Health Education England business priorities.

Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 8d with a full-time starting salary of £75,914 with a pay step increase after 5 years' service.

These salaries are offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and the HEE Pay Progression Policy and are subject to annual cost of living review.
