Head of Finance

Job Reference: 847-20-LS-V926

Employer: Department: 847 Finance - 5005 Location: Wakefield Salary: £61,031

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join and lead our Finance Team.

Spectrum Community Health CIC is a community owned, award winning health provider. Our recent success at achieving four new contracts demonstrates our policy of innovation and continuous improvement and is testimony to our committed and talented teams. As a Social Enterprise our profits are reinvested into our staff and services, and we benefit from being independent, large enough to provide a level of security, yet small enough to be able to make things happen.

Our multi-disciplinary teams provide healthcare services to some of the most vulnerable people in our society, from diverse backgrounds, who present a full range of general, mental health and recovery concerns.

The successful candidate will be ambitious, enthusiastic and a highly motivated individual who will lead the finance team. The Head of Finance is responsible for the provision of advice and information, interpretation of policy, implementation of changes and the management of all aspects of the finance function for Spectrum.

As a key strategic leader in the business you will assist and support the Director of Finance in the execution of the Board's statutory financial responsibilities and drive delivery of a range of business initiatives and projects.

The post holder will be expected to undertake safeguarding training (Children and Adults) appropriate to their role and adhere to policies and procedures relevant to the area they work in.
