We’re hunting for a Head of Sales to create, lead and develop the People Against Dirty (PAD) soap selling agenda internally and externally in the Belgian, Dutch and French markets. You will build and develop a superstar team and proactively develop pioneering relationships with our retailers to inspire them behind plans to grow the size and profitability of our joint business. You’ll act as a business leader in the hub, inspiring, engaging and leading the team forward to sell more soap!

The role is based in our offices close to Antwerp and sits on the PAD Leadership Team (PLT) for the hub. We expect that your role will be 60% based in the office, with the remainder of your time spent with customer across the territories (Belgium, Netherlands, France).

We’ll expect you to create and lead sales agendas and visions, coach and develop teams, build strong relationships inside and out, shape decisions based on information and then turn this into action to drive performance into the retailers. You will need FMCG sales experience, be able to manage a P&L and be able to engage and inspire at Head of Buying level (and possibly more senior) at our customers as well as run our internal sales processes (forecasting/trade spend planning + management, etc).

This role is different to sales roles in other FMCG companies; our customers love us and act as our advocates…you’ll need to be a self-starter who’s not afraid to get your hands dirty and kick ass fast…and you’ll have the personality and energy to add to the team vibe in the office (hint: do you like fancy dress, can you catch a Frisbee, and could you help mend the coffee machine?). You’ll be a beacon of our PAD values and an inspiring people leader able to recruit and develop PAD superstars of the future. We’re a collaborative team and will need you to be a Dutch, French & English language master to communicate effectively with our broader EU team.
