We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Talent to join the team and be part of the People Management Team whilst leading a small, growing team of talent acquisition specialists.

In partnership with the wider People Team and the business leaders, this role will be responsible for building a unique employment brand and an engaging candidate experience; whilst being a a trusted advisor to internal leaders bringing clarity to organisational design and role benchmarking in order to scale their team effectively. You will have the ability to think long term and build innovative and exciting plans as well as leading on optimizing the existing talent structure and processes.

You will also be responsible for elevating our diversity and inclusion strategy, ensuring we foster a truly inclusive environment.

This is a great role for someone with experience in Talent Acquisition and team leadership who is looking to move into more of a generalist/project leadership role

Requirements

KEY FOCUS AREAS:
  • Interpreting the business strategy into clear deliverables for the Talent Team, designing and delivering against a Talent Plan that will align to the overall People Plan that will support business change and continuous improvement in-line with the Company's strategic goals
  • Help design and embed a leadership behaviour informed talent acquisition process, and guide a company wide team of Leadership Behaviour Champions
  • Teach and Lead a team of talent specialists, being responsible for their overall development and constantly reviewing the effectiveness of the team and ways of working
  • Act as a champion for diversity & inclusion with efforts spanning across the entire employee lifecycle: recruitment, development, advancement, recognition and retention; with a strong focus on recruitment. You will lead, develop and execute on the plans to increase diversity and inclusion at MATCHESFASHION.COM
  • Manage a portfolio of strategically important company wide projects which includes D&I, Future Talent, Tech talent pipelines and Talent Management
  • Act as a coach to senior leaders, championing the value of effective recruitment strategies sharing knowledge and best practice within the the talent acquisition team as well as within the business to ensure that MATCHESFASHION.COM only hires the very best talent
  • Working collaboratively alongside the People Partners and Director to ensure that the Talent Acquisition strategies are closely aligned to the overall People Roadmap
  • Working closely with our Internal Communications Team to ensure that all talent initiatives are communicated in a way which underpins and supports our culture
  • Be an agent of change, influencing stakeholders to drive new and industry leading iniatitives, with the ability to speak to external market insights
  • Oversees senior level recruitment, working alongside People Director with c-suite hires
  • Develops strong partnership with the People Partnering team to understand and address succession issues within their client groups, ensuring a proactive candidante pipeline and talent mapping to underpin the Company's growth ambitions
  • Oversee the candidate selection process ensuring the talent team provides an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience that ensures a high degree of candidate engagement along the way
  • Develops key partnerships with a limited number of external search partners utilizing them strategically when necessary
  • Drives on-going internal sourcing strategies and pro-actively connects with external talent to glean external market data and competitive intelligence while building future pipelines
  • Creates, implements and measures KPIs - demonstrating ROI of the function
  • Lead the team to develop best-in-class talent acquisition strategies, methods, referrals, direct sourcing and social media strategy

YOU SHOULD APPLY IF:
  • Previous experience in leading and developing a high performing Talent Acquisition team
  • Prior management of full cycle recruitment processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a high volume of recruitment activity, with proven experience in recruitment (both in-house and agency) Tech experience would be welcome
  • Must have solid experience of recruiting in a leadership behaviours/values driven organisation, and ideally experience of implementing a values driven recruitment process
  • You will have been immersed in a customer first environment, and will be able to ensure high standards of customer service across the employee experience
  • Self-starter who is able to hit the ground running and take charge of the position
  • Gets things done, with both a short and long-term view in mind
  • Pragmatic and outcome-oriented, leveraging data to make informed decisions
  • Thrives in a fast paced, agile environment with exceptional organisational skills and ability to re-prioritize on a consistent basis
