Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust was formed in October 2019, following the merger of 2gether NHS Foundation Trust and Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust. The two Trusts joined together to provide integrated mental health, physical health and learning disability services to communities.

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is looking for two friendly, conscientious and motivated individual to join the Facilities Team.

The purpose of the role is to provide a cleaning and catering service within our Community Hospital.

The service we provide operates shifts across all of the seven days a week. The successful candidate will be working throughout the hospital in non-patient and inpatient areas. We are looking for a person who can work as part of the team to maintain the high standards of cleanliness and to prepare safe and consistently high standards of food and beverages for patients in our care.

This patient facing role requires candidates to have good communication skills. The successful candidate will require the ability to follow instructions and procedures via written, verbal and computer based methods of communication and preferably has previous experience in a similar role or environment.

A flexible approach towards the work will be required to meet the changing priorities of the workload, duties and department.

This post requires the post holder to be able to undertake all statutory and mandatory training and post holders must be able to undertake physical interventions. Fitness for physical intervention will be assessed by Occupational Health.
