Eurostar's HR Business Partner will join our Service and People Team. This is a critical role and will be responsible for leading, managing and advising several internal/Head Office client groups on the people agenda and sharing responsibility for delivery of business plans. An expert who brings in best practice from internal and external sources.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who...
  • Will support and guide on organisational change for our Head Office client groups to ensure the best solutions are reached.
  • Builds strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manages complex and difficult people projects cross-functionally.
  • Proactively supports and embeds the delivery of Succession Planning and Talent Management. Ensures robust plans are in place and reviewed regularly.
  • Acts as the performance improvement driver and promotes positive changes in people management, in the long, medium and short term.
  • Interfaces with the right individuals in the People Team to ensure delivery of specialist services to their client groups.
  • Provides support and guidance on complex ER cases e.g. conduct, grievance and performance
  • Coaches line managers on leadership behaviours ensuring that individual and group development plans exist to close any gaps.
  • Promotes and is the liaison point for employee opinion surveys in the client group, working with the team to ensure action plans are delivered.
  • Will attend Local Council in your client areas, supporting the department leads and advising on HR process / policy.
  • Successfully delivers cost effective and integrated people solutions that address key business objectives, gaining acceptance from key stakeholders.
You'll need...
  • Previous experience of Business Partnering with strong knowledge of HR concepts and practices experience of Change Management, Strategic Workforce Planning, Culture & Engagement, Talent Management, Performance Management, People Development & Recruiting Strategies and more
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills, using a comprehensive approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of current and upcoming employment law would be particularly beneficial, CIPD or another recognised HR Qualification would be desirable.
  • To deliver effective, impactful and engaging communications and be someone with great interpersonal and influencing skills with colleagues at all levels.
  • Act on your own initiative and work autonomously whilst taking responsibility for decisions, finding practical solutions in tight time frames.
  • To be someone who constantly seeks to improve HR and Operational ways of working, supporting and managing cross functional change management programmes with measured outcomes and milestones.
  • Exposure of working with both Head Office and Operations client groups in an international environment.
  • Experience of working with Trade Unions will be extremely beneficial.
