An exciting opportunity has arisen with an international media and events organisation for an HR Director. The role will have a truly global remit, supporting a client group across EMEA and APAC who are responsible for industry leading events. The position will report directly into the President of the group, operate at VP level and lead a small team.
The HR Director will have a full generalist remit with a particular strategic focus on talent, organisational development, organisation effectiveness and employee engagement. The business is going through a period of development so there will be a number of strategic projects and opportunities to really shape and develop people strategy. Alongside this, they must also still be operationally minded and comfortable pulling together people and processes on a global scale.
Successful candidates will be comfortable leading a team and operating at a Director level. Global experience is important and exposure to operating in the Middle East would be highly advantageous as would experience of the events industry.
