HR Operations Assistant - 9 Month FTC

Salary between £25-30k

The HR Operations Assistant is responsible in providing confidential, professional advice and support throughout the Company, including recruitment, performance management, compensation, training and development and employment legislation.

We are looking for a talented HR professional who has the ability to operate in a generalist capacity, with sound employment law knowledge, great people skills and a creative flair. The responsibilities of this role will include supporting our current HR Operations Assistant with daily activities such as:
  • Act as the first contact point for managers and employees, providing accurate and timely HR information and advice.
  • Administration, co-ordination and support of all RDG recruitment activities, including drafting and placement of advertisements, organising and conducting interviews and the co-ordination of the combined vacancy log.
  • Administration of new starters, leavers, transfers and contractual changes, including the preparation of contractual documentation and updating the HR database.
  • Preparation of the periodic payroll
  • Management of all company benefits schemes
  • Conduct and prepare staff inductions/new starter inductions
  • Provision of statistical and management information reports
  • Facilitating and arranging training courses both on and off-site.
  • Management of the Recruitment and HR team inbox.
  • Managing the engagement and onboarding of all non-employed workers, including support with the IR35 process.
  • Supporting the wider HR team with ad-hoc project work.
This post requires an individual who has genuine people skills, who is adaptable and has the ability to be proactive, methodical and diligent in their approach to work. You should possess a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and possess strong organisation and prioritisation skills. Previous HR experience and working with an HR system is essential.
