This position will support the Human Resources department and is responsible for all HR Administrative tasks for Skanska USA. This role serves a critical function to maintain accurate and compliant data for employees across diverse business units, locations, and employment statuses (craft, salaried, union, temporary, etc.). You will work as part of a centralized team that are based throughout the US and different time zones. To be successful in this position you must demonstrate strong organizational skills, be able to multi-task, and independently manage your workload. In addition, this roles requires strong attention to details, effective communication, customer focus, and collaboration with Human Resources, payroll, project representatives, and other key stakeholders.

What You Will Do:
  • Maintain employee records ensuring data accuracy and compliance in Oracle HCM Cloud and JDE systems.
  • Complete new hire process to include the following:
    • Offer letter creation
    • Data entry in HCM and JDE
    • E-verify
    • Documents to key stakeholders
    • Administer supplemental income and time off accruals in JDE
  • Complete HR processes, such as transfers, leave of absence, promotions, salary changes, terminations, and additional supplemental payments.
  • Ensure all HR processes are completed within the time and quality guidelines with adherence to internal policies and state laws.
  • Maintain daily communication with local HR, HR Services team members, payroll, project representatives, key stakeholders, and third party vendors.
  • Run standard HR reports and maintain data integrity in systems by analyzing data in excel.
  • Troubleshoot and assist with identifying system issues and any necessary system testing.
  • Assist with HR projects as needed.
We're Looking For:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 1+ year of HR related experience
  • Experience with HR systems and HR administration
  • Up to 5% Travel
  • Experienced with Microsoft suite of products (outlook, excel, word)
  • Able to work independently in a virtual setting
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of records
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and maintain strong attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form
  • Location: Proximity to US Skanska Office with ability to work remote
  • Standard Hours: Required to work core hours to support coast to coast business needs
