If you are looking for a project that you can really get your "teeth into" and want to see the benefits become a reality, then this role of Self-Service Implementation Officer within the ESR (Electronic Staff Record) team will certainly provide you with job satisfaction.
The role has been created to support the increase of awareness of employee Self Service ESR to all staff members, meaning they will be able to access their own personal details, pension details, apply for annual leave and ensure they are up to date with all training. There is also the implementation of the management portal, for managers to review staff sick and compliance with training.

The post holder will liaise with relevant teams to support the implementation and act as a first point of contact for ESR Self Service users for sometimes complex enquiries, using persuasive or negotiation skills to provide technical support. They will also analyse situations and information to identify and resolve a range of problems.

The role will require the individual to have high excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff, often on the telephone, in a very busy environment. The role requires good problem-solving skills and a pleasant manner when dealing with customers. Attention to detail and the ability to plan and prioritise workloads are essential.

The post holder will have relevant NHS experience and ideally experience of using ESR. You must possess excellent IT, organisational and planning skills and be able to work well under pressure.

You will be based at Kent and Canterbury Hospital.
