All successful applicants will be required to complete the Trust's induction programme. The Fundamental (Statutory and Mandatory) training will be in an e-learning format. You will be required to complete training modules online (approx. 9-14 hours depending on post) in your own time prior to any unconditional offer being made.

ICT TECHNICAL APPRENTICESHIP

BIRMINGHAM & SOLIHULL MENTAL HEALTH FOUNDATION TRUST

Salary: £ 4.15 per hour increasing to £4.55 after first 6 months

Duration: 18 MONTHS

Following the ongoing success of our Apprenticeship programme, we are recruiting again to opportunities in ICT.

Information about the Trust

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health care to those people living in Birmingham and Solihull. Our Trust has 4000 dedicated staff who are continually working to help people get better and challenge the stigma associated with mental illness. Our Trust operates from over 40 sites (across Birmingham & Solihull) in a variety of settings, from Community based Mental Health Teams through to Acute Wards and Day Centres.

Apprentice Post

Please Note: candidates with an equivalent or same qualification will not be shortlisted!

Successful candidates will be expected to work in challenging and dynamic environments and will be supported throughout their career in the Trust by experienced staff who will offer coaching and supervision. You will also be provided with a comprehensive induction, and ongoing training.

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust in partnership with the learning provider, will support you to complete a Level 3 ICT Technical Apprenticeship. After this, you will be equipped with the necessary skills and experience to be eligible to apply for a permanent post (subject to availability) . There also may be an opportunity to study towards a higher level apprenticeship or work flexibly through our temporary staffing bank.

We are continually creating opportunities in locations across Birmingham & Solihull in a wide range of departments and clinical settings. You will need do demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment and good communication skills to be selected. You will also be required to function at a Level One standard in Literacy and Numeracy, as a minimum requirement.
