PwC is driving major change across information and cyber security by building a centralized model to provide security services across the entire member firm network. Mandated at the network level, Network Information Security (NIS) operates outside Information Technology (IT) and is responsible for this major program initiative, from definition of the security strategy to the execution of the global Cyber Readiness Program, moving from local to globally-provided services.

About the role

Demonstrates skills and/or proven success in a role participating in Information Technology-related consulting-related projects within a professional services environment that include the following:
  • Managing and assisting with small projects;
  • Performing the following roles during the course of IT-related project engagements and/or work streams: Architect, Designer, and Systems Analyst;
  • Contributing to design and code reviews;
  • Contributing subject matter knowledge as part of the development of Information Technology-related standard industry leading practices; and,
  • Performs appropriate Reviewer or Contributor role for all work projects and projects assigned to Technical Lead.

Essential skills and experience

Demonstrates knowledge of, and/or proven success as an individual contributor in at least four of the following:
  • Working in development team environments;
  • Assisting in architecture- and design-related client projects and/or work streams, as well as having contributed as a systems analyst and conducted technical reviews of off-shore deliverables;
  • Development and deployment of Integration and Performance tests using standard tools and frameworks, e.g. Selenium and JMeter;
  • Assisting the Lead Manager Architect on large projects;
  • Assisting client service teams during client implementations;
  • Consulting with client service in areas of technical expertise;
  • Performing application maintenance and support of client solutions;
  • Investigation and/or resolution of complex technical issues for the area of responsibility on the project; and,
  • Reviewing deliverables of offshore resources.

Who we're looking for

Demonstrates knowledge of, and/or proven success as an individual contributor, executing various aspects of businessand/or information technology-related client engagements and/or projects within a professional services environment, including the following areas:
  • Microsoft development tools and methodologies including Visual Studio, MS Sharepoint, MS SQL Server, Team Foundation Server and/or Azure DevOps, MongoDB, database tools, reporting tools, and other application tools/languages;
  • Development methodologies such as Object Oriented, Rational Unified Process, Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, ERP, Maintenance, COTS implementation, and Model-driven Architecture;
  • Design and execution of software test strategies; and,
  • Database design concepts.
