Job description
The Security function in the RNIB Technology Team is responsible for the design, implementation and support of recognised security standards, RNIB operational standards and regulatory requirements.

You will be responsible for leading a team operating within a complex and geographically diverse environment. A technical design authority and proactive member of the IT senior management team, liaising closely with all areas of the business acting as a SME to those that require IT security advise.

We're looking for a self-motivated, customer focussed individual with good attention to detail, who is able to provide leadership and direction to the team. As well as providing line management and direction. Work closely with Information Security, Information Governance, IT departments and managers across the organisation.

To provide security leadership and oversight within an IT team and across the organisation through the implementation and operation of RNIB's information security programme.
