Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to fulfil a 12 month fixed term contract. We are seeking experience in Microsoft Windows operating systems and knowledge of enterprise IT, infrastructure and networking within a complex large organisation. Work will include analysis, recommending solutions, migrating, archiving and decommissioning systems in line with business needs and adherence to data protection legislation.

Are you forward thinking and focused with a 'can do' attitude? Do you have the drive and ability to identify problems and present information to senior stakeholders? A proactive stance and attention to detail is a must, combined with previous exposure to document writing, system design and implementation.

The successful candidate will be closely aligned with a project team, so must be a team player. Alongside internal colleagues, they may also be required to work with third party suppliers and staff from other NHS organisations. The successful candidate must be able to manage and prioritise their own workload under the direction of both senior IT managers and project managers to ensure corporate objectives are met.

If this job requires you to have DBS check to enable you to properly fulfil the requirements of the job, on appointment, you will be required to replay the cost of obtaining a DBS check and this amount will be reclaimed in installments from your salary.
