Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a first class International Import Coordinator to work within our International Operations Department (IOD) based in Oldbury.

As the International Import Coordinator your primary accountability will be to deliver operation and service support relating to all import matters, making recommendations to the International Import Manager and Road and General Manager International Services. You will liaise with the DPD UK Network, DPD Group, and central services to ensure proactive resolution of all operational and service issues, as well as ensuring all information, reports and records are maintained.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities will include
  • Take responsibility to ensure that service performance for Import and Export Collections is above KPI for both DPD Success and Customer Experience.

  • Work proactively with the hub and network to assess areas for improvement and take actions to improve customer experience

  • Achieve goals set by International Import Manager to grow Inbound and improve the Service Performance and offerings

  • Provide key project updates on a weekly basis to stakeholders in the IOD and the business

  • Support Management Team with weekly Group KPI reporting (Quality and Network)

  • Proactively provide the IOD and the Group with advice on any International inbound matters, trends, International information and recommendations to improve service

  • Work closely with all Strategic Inbound Partners to ensure the volumes they send on Inbound are above KPI for both Customer Experience and DPD Success,

  • Work effectively with Road Service Delivery Team to synergize current operations impacting import and export road operations, and highlight any processes that maybe impacting performance

  • Take ownership of escalations, correspondence and enquiries on behalf of the International Import Manager. Once finished with the escalation, ensure procedures are in place to mitigate issues in the future

  • Provide International import Manager best practice for improvements to DPD Success and Customer Experience, such as address and label quality, phone and email capture and any other factors impacting the groups inbound performance

  • Ensure timely responses to Internal and external customers for any queries and requests relating to the International inbound offerings and operation

Qualifications

What we are looking for;

To be considered for this role you must have hands-on import experience. You will be passionate about delivering an outstanding and professional service to our internal and external customers.

Your excellent communication and organisational skills will be fully utilised in this role as will your ability to prioritise and manage multiple case loads. We will also expect you to have

  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages or Google Suite.

Additional Information

Job Specifics

This role is typically working Monday to Friday however due to our sites operating over 24 hours a day, 7 days a week there may be times when flexibility is required in terms of working hours
