Due to an exciting new challenge delivering Post Brexit service for our International customers, we are currently recruitingSortation Managers,to helpstrengthenour International operations team and help themachieve ever-greater heights. These roles will be based at our International Gateway in Hinckley.

Due to the nature of our operationthis role will require you to work nights and will cover a4 from 7 working pattern either a Sunday- Wednesday or a WednesdaySaturday.

In this role you will bemanaging a team of warehouse operatives throughout the nightmaking sure that they areengaged, organisedandmotivated,while they unloading the lorries that arrive to the International GatewayYou will oversee theaccurate sortationof the parcels to ensure this is achieved inline with HM Customs Guidelines.

Other key accountabilities will be;
  • Achieving the Companies objectives relating toHealth & Safety, productivity, and costtodeliver outstanding serviceto our customers.
  • Resourcingadditional staff at short notice in the event of any employee absence

Qualifications

What we're looking for;
  • You will have experience in afast paced operationwith proven and demonstrablepeople managementexperience, involving direct accountability and responsibility formotivatingandleadinga high performing team.
  • You will have strong communication skills with the ability toinspire, motivateand manage team.
  • Decisive and effectivedecision-making,problem resolution and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate high levels ofresilience, self-motivationandflexibility.
  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to use Google chrome applications
  • The ability to docomprehensive reporting,alongsideanalysis of datais a key requirement for this role.
  • You will be highly vigilant to any unscrupulous activity taking swift and appropriate action when required.

Additional Information

Job Specifics

You will have a comprehensive induction to DPD where we will go through the key processes that are required to make you a 'rock star'. This will include a thorough induction to our International Operation and Department.

Our department operates over a 24 hour period, 362days a year, therefore at busy times you may be required to work nights or weekends.
