Job Description

Our IT Infrastructure Manager - Client Services, is looking for an outstanding IT Repair Centre Managerto join their highly skilled and experienced team. This role is based within our IT Department located at our Head Office in Smethwick (B66 1BY) In this role you will be supporting our HubOperations in Smethwick, Oldbury and Hinckley and our Network of Depots across the UK.

Key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Managing the high volume triage and repair of DPD's client devices

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Stakeholder management, including excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of computers, computer hardware, and repair techniques

  • Understanding the importance of standards and procedures

  • Understanding of stock, spares, consumables management and control

  • Understanding of incident, problem, change and configuration disciplines and processes

Qualifications

About You

To excel in this role you will need to have prior experience of managing a high volume computer / hardware repair centre or similar environment. Strong team management skills are essential, particularly the ability to effectively lead your team in a high pressure environment to tight deadlines.
