We are looking for an IT Specalist to join our team at our Head Office in Maple Cross.

You will work with IT operational staff and business stakeholders to ensure all IT services and systems are implemented, maintained and upgraded securely, and compliant with Skanska security controls, policies and procedures and are protected against unacceptable risk to the business.

Support the delivery of a continuous improvement plan and Cyber security strategyto ensure Skanska's IT security controls remain fit for purpose and protected against current and future cyber security threats. Provide education, awareness, guidance and support on all Cyber security related matters to IT and business staff.


Develop, initiate, review and maintain policies that are specific to Cyber security and risk to prevent improper conduct and adherence to the policies

Own the delivery of IT's Cyber security strategy and support risk management plans

Support the development, maintenance, and governance of IT processes to Detect, Protect, Respond and Recover from cyber related events.

Support the on-going activity of delivering education and awareness to internal IT staff and the wider IT user community.

Support the development and maintenance of design standards and associated governance relating to Cyber security

Support external and internal audits for both business and IT Enabling function in regard to any relevant Cyber security related controls

We're looking for:

Demonstrable experience in an IT support environment is essential

Significant hands on experience in a Cyber security focussed role is essential

Broad technical understanding of IT systems, applications and services, ideally gained in several different roles with different employers.

Experience working with information security standards and frameworks (ISF, Cyber Essentials, ISO, etc.) is desirable

Security certifications such as CISSP or equivalent is prefrrerd
