Role Summary

The Key Account Manager (KAM) is all about selling the products and services of Allied Electronics & Automation. You will succeed in this role through the achievement of sales goals via new business development and share gained from assigned and unassigned accounts. These goals will be realized through effective management of designated territories and physical visits to client sites, which in turn will enable you to build a sustainable pipeline of new business opportunities. The KAM will partner with other members of the Allied team, as well as suppliers to strengthen the representation of the Allied value proposition. In doing this, you will contribute to advancing Allied's vision of becoming the clients First Choice supplier.

What we are looking for:

Allied is looking for you to be ambitious and personable. Do you have the ability to work with new and existing clients to sell our entire product and services portfolio? We need you to develop new business opportunities and expand company share within assigned and unassigned client accounts. To do this effectively, you will need to build strong relationships with our Internal Key Account Managers (IKAM), Suppliers, Field Application Engineers and others on the Allied team. This includes having the drive to follow-up on client opportunities, work collaboratively with colleagues and be detailed oriented and professional. This will provide the customer a great experience in a time-efficient manner., Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, relevant field preferred
  • Two or more years of prior work experience in sales, management, account management, or relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
