About us:

We are people against dirty, the people behind method and ecover. We’ve always done things differently. We are fearless thinkers, mad scientists and adventurous designers who believe making soap leads to brave ideas, bold inventions and beautiful bubbles. We are small but we have big plans to make the world a cleaner, greener, more colourful place. We think about cleaning as an act of creative expression, a gesture of rebellion, and, yes, an escape from the normal. We take cleaning seriously – but not ourselves. We invite everyone to join us as we pioneer a future where doing business is doing good for all.

What’s the role?

Our business is growing fast; we are launching new brands and having a pipeline bursting with pioneering innovations. To help us deliver these ambitious product plans, we are looking for a motivated lab technician to assist the formulation and innovation teams in delivering the pipeline.

You’ll have a burning passion for lab work, and you’ll use this to support different projects by making samples, performing tests and making reports. Your attention to details and accuracy means you can effectively experiment and fight the pile of administrative tasks. Your scientific background and experience working within a lab mean you will take full responsibility for the tests that need to be performed. You’ll ensure that sample and material handling is being done in an organized way. The ideal candidate will know how to process data and write reports. You will also act as the admin support for our formulators, take care of the product information sheets, report filing, and purchase lab material. Working with Microsoft Word and Excel, you’ll be writing reports, keeping SOP’s (standard operating procedures) and raw material databases relevant and up to date. This rock&roll (role) is perfect for a team player who can work independently and isn’t hesitant to raise problems pro-actively. With or without any work experience: we will train you on the job. However, some past working adventures can be a nice bonus.

What’s in it for you?
  • Competitive pay & benefits
  • ‘Build your own’ learning program
  • Lunch Vouchers
  • 20 days annual holiday & 12 ADV days
  • Pension, Life cover & Health Insurance
  • Care days
  • Wellness days & much more!
