Landscape Manager

We are looking for a Landscape Manager to join our Infrastructure Services Projects team on site in Hinkley Point C, Bridgewater. This is a key role where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a Landscape element of the service as per the organisational structure.

  • Manage the delivery of annual landscaping programme and ad hoc landscape schemes
  • Manage and lead of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment
  • Work collaboratively with approved supply chain partners to promote innovations and collaborative approach for works or schemes on site
  • Ensure operatives and sub-contractors are supplied with all necessary documentation in accordance with NNB procedures to complete their tasks
  • Ensure where reasonably practical that we meet client expectations and ensure excellent communication with all project stakeholders
  • Ensure completion of works to required quality standard
  • Review and approval of required Risk Assessments & Method Statements, ITPs and other related operational documentation
  • Request and develop permits and ensure acceptance and issuance of permits
  • Liaise with commercial team and client with regards quotations for improvements, EWNs, CEs and client requests
  • Ensure the highest possible Health, Safety & Environmental standards are employed across the service, adhering to Skanska & NNB health and safety policy culture
We're looking for:
  • Technical knowledge and experience in supervising landscaping/grounds maintenance contracts or projects
  • Sufficient technical knowledge of landscaping & ecology activities including, wildlife, European Protected Species (EPS) and other legislation.
  • Detailed understanding of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management
  • Experience of managing supervising and subcontractors
  • Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
  • CSCS card
  • Good IT skills
  • Driving licence
