Building a sustainable tomorrow

The TRU West Alliance is delivering a key part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU), a multi-billion pound investment programme that will increase capacity and provide space for millions more passengers in the north every year. The TRU West Alliance is responsible for this transformation between Leeds and Manchester Victoria.

Role Purpose: Provide support for the Business Improvement strategy across the Alliance. The role will also be responsible for ensuring that benefits are realised from Improvement activity across multiple teams and disciplines. Training will be given for each area of responsibility. This role will be based in Manchester.


Your mission

•    The ability to influence and engage Individuals & teams at every level.
•    Develop and lead programmes to deliver identified improvements; communicate the purpose and scope of initiatives to stakeholders and obtain acceptance for proposed changes.
•    Identify areas of potential internal efficiency and performance improvement through benchmarking, best practice and process improvement.
