Amazon's Operations Talent Development team (OTD) is seeking a Coordination Manager within its European Union (EU) Learning Operations organization. This role manages the coordination support for all OTD owned programs that align to the following pillars: Onboarding, Proficiency, Mastery and Transition. Our highest volume training is our Onboarding program (AD1), where the coordination team is responsible for scheduling and communicating with new leaders joining the WWOps organization. This team works diligently to resolve issues quickly, in an effort to maintain an exemplary new hire experience. The Coordination Manager will also lead all aspects and phases of successful operations for other OTD developmental learning programs and initiatives. They will manage a team of Coordinators supporting multiple business lanes. This includes forecasting demand, all core scheduling and coordinating activities, and workload balancing. They will develop staff members so each teammate is fully trained and utilized to the optimum level.

We expect the EU Coordinator Manager to be a passionate customer and candidate advocate with proven analytical capabilities and project management skills, extreme attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a high level of flexibility, commitment, and the ability to tackle ambiguity. The Coordination Manager role is someone that independently engages with leaders establishing a broad network of internal and external stakeholders. This role must possess the ability to perform complex analysis around the different programs supported ensuring adequate management by the coordination team and therefore providing insight and direction for future adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a close-knit, high performing team, with some team members residing in multiple countries.
- Partner with other Regional Coordination Managers to develop standard work and global processes for all OTD programs.
- Drive improvements in coordination processes; share best practices globally.
- Assist in the support of Coordination functions within Emerging Countries.
- Develop and implement resource forecasts and planning for efficient resource allocation.
- Hire and develop team members (full time and contractor support).
- Participate in other OTD related projects as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as business, education, instructional design, organizational development or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in the areas of operational management and learning and development with increasing levels of responsibility and scope.
- Proven experience in implementing innovative learning and development solutions within a fast-paced global environment.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using and presenting data to make decisions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence peers and leaders.
- Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking and willingness to be vocally self-critical.
- Disciplined self-starter; resourceful and able to prioritize (and re-prioritize) in a fast paced environment with shifting objectives.
- Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision in a dynamic and often ambiguous environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; current role model for learning and development leaders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in related discipline.
- Operational experience outside of training and leadership development.
- Experience supporting the training and leadership of an operational organization.
- Experience with business, financial and process improvement tools, concepts and methodologies.

- Experience with recruiting systems (iCIMS), onboarding platforms and learning management systems (KNet, Thinking Cap).
