Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will support the identification of learning and development needs across the business and support the delivery and/or commissioning of effective L&D interventions. This will include supporting the analysis of training requirements and the development of comprehensive training plans ensuring learning is evaluated, effectively delivered and value for money.

You will assist with both the design and commission of learning activities (such as e-learning, digital learning, social learning platforms, mobile learning, and video learning), managing contracts and course bookings with external training providers and deliver classroom/virtual based learning activities.  You will maintain and monitor all employee training records and manage the ongoing maintenance of the e-learning system content to ensure the course catalogue is appropriate.

It is essential you have experience of delivering a high level of customer service, with experience of working to deadlines and the ability to prioritise effectively.  You should have excellent attention to detail and communications skills.  Up to date knowledge of Learning and Development practices with the experience of the training cycle including design, delivery and evaluation is essential.

The base location for this role is Manchester. However please note that due to Covid-19, we have adapted our working arrangements under government guidelines and Safe Systems of Work and the role is currently home working.
