We are currently looking for a Licensing Administrator to join our team in Birmingham for a 12 month, fixed term contract.

We are currently looking for a Licensing Administrator to join our team in Birmingham for a 12 month, fixed term contract.

The Role

As a Licensing Administrator, you will join our Licensing Team that is tasked with helping improve how we can assess who can provide gambling services and better regulating the gambling industry.

The Licensing Team is innovative and finds new solutions to challenges whilst helping to keep gambling safe and fair.

Specifically, your role will involve:

- Inputting and assigning casework relating to license applications and licensee accounts
- Manging your own caseload of incoming licence applications and making risk and evidence-based decisions
- Responding to licensee queries and providing excellent customer service
- Helping make services more efficient and effective
- Contributing to process and technology improvements
- Working as part of a small administrator team

About You

To be considered as a Licensing Administrator, you will need:

- Some analytical and decision-making capability, including ability to follow instructions accurately and use judgement
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
- The ability to achieve results, working as part of a small team
- Proactive planning and organisation skills to meet challenging deadlines
- Attention to detail ensuring accuracy and high quality standards
- Ability to manage a changing and demanding workload
- Literacy and numeracy skills with developed IT skills, including the ability to use multiple systems
- Able to adapt to change in a professional manner, identifying areas for continuous improvement
- Flexible and able to act on own initiative

Previous experience of managing a caseload would be beneficial to your application.

Previous experience of working within a regulatory environment would also be an advantage.
