Where can you build for a better society?

We are looking for a Life Cycle Painter to join our team on-site in Derby at Estates Royal Derby Hospital. Your purpose will be to carry out interior and exterior painting & decorating to a high standard, either alone or working as a team. Working on own initiative when applicable. Undertake painting works as outlined in the agreed life cycle painting programme

You'll:
  • Set out new work using relevant tools and materials, without supervision
  • Carry out wallpapering, papering to a high level of skill
  • Demonstrate a clear commitment to inter trade flexibility by agreement
  • Leave areas clean and tidy at all times
  • Prepare to erect and dismantle scaffolding after training
  • Prepared to work at high levels of scaffold
  • Carry out sign making duties require
  • Human focus card holder
  • Be required to achieve good communications with colleagues and liaise with staff at all levels throughout the organisation during the course of their normal duties.
We're looking for:
  • A recognised painting apprenticeship with a minimum of City & Guilds Craft certificate or equivalent plus 2 years experience.
