Job Title - Loader
Salary - £18,297.00 **** plus Veolia benefits *listed below
Location - Veolia, Aston Road business Park, Aston Road, Wem, Shropshire, SY4 5BA.
Hours - Full time, 37 hours per week, 07:00am - 15:00pm Monday-Thursday & 07:00am- 14:30pm Friday.
What you’ll do
We are looking for a Loader to join our busy team at our site in Shropshire where you will be working as part of the collections team collecting waste from public and/or commercial sites across the district. Other duties include:
Undertaking all collections in a professional manner
Ensuring the working site is safe, clean and tidy
Ensuring that any potential danger to yourself, other employees or the public is minimised
Assisting the driver when manoeuvring the vehicle especially when reversing to ensure the safety of yourself and the public
Acting as ambassadors on behalf of the Company, ensuring that the client is treated courteously and respectfully and that their requirements are complied with in line with health and safety procedures

Where you’ll work
You will be based at the Wem transport depot in Shropshire, where you will be working with a team of 49 people delivering a high-quality waste and recycling collection service to the residents within the North Shropshire area.
