Salary - up to £32,000 plus Veolia benefits *listed below
Grade - 5.2
Location - Flexible, with weekly London Travel
Hours - Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
What you’ll do

We are currently looking for a talented Logistics Analyst to join a large data and analytics function within a leading Environmental company. You will help us to become more operationally efficient by solving numerous routing problems ensuring that the solutions are optimal yet achievable. As a business we are making more and more decisions based on data and you can play a big part in helping us to achieve our growth objectives.
This role reports into the GIS Manager and works across our UK & Ireland businesses.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Lead route optimisation projects for both new and existing businesses
Work with our operational teams to understand bespoke constraints and fine tune each project
Champion our route optimisation software and liaise with our supplier to improve configuration
Build routing templates that can be reused across the UK
Be able to communicate technical solutions to non-technical people
The experience and qualifications you will need
Degree level education in a relevant field or equivalent experience (transport logistics or mathematical background preferred)
High problem solving ability
Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience with software or tools relating to fleet planning or optimisation
Quick to learn new software
Proactive and forward thinking

Where you’ll work
Your office base will be in Kings Cross, London however, you will be required to work from various locations across the UK.
