Job Description

Due to continued growth we are delighted to announce that we are recruiting for a Logistics Quality Manager to join our team. Could this be you?

In this role you will be responsible forsupporting our Logistics Solutions teams through monitoring and constant review of Logistics processes and analytics and identifying opportunities to improve the quality and experience for our customers. You are responsible for ensuring operational tasks are completed in the most efficient, accurate and cost effective manner whilst ensuring service levels and our customer experience is not compromised.

Additionally you will be focused on;
  • Department compliance on H&S, HR, Quality, Environmental, Recruitment, Training and Systems. Including identifying and resolving any areas of non compliance

  • Resolving any internal or external complaints and implementing a customer first approach in all aspects of the operation.

  • Management of support functions of Continuous Improvement, Training and Systems

  • To coach and mentor all Logistics employees in understanding Company processes and procedures

  • Identify focus areas and suggest and support implementation of new ways of working across the department, leading and motivating the Logistics department in the development of continuous improvement

Qualifications

What we're looking for
  • Previous experience of carrying out audits of process, analysing results and implementing change within a fast paced warehouse, logistics or operational environment.

  • You will be analytical, data focused, highly organisedand have exceptional attention to detail alongside the ability to develop plans and deliver outstanding service.

  • You will be a confident communicator and able to influence and motivate at all levels through both verbally and written communications.

  • A person capable of decisive and effective decision-making, in a time pressured environment

  • Someone that really enjoys resolving problems and demonstrates high levels of resilience, self-motivation and flexibility.

  • High standard of computer literacy with a thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite

Additional Information

Job Specifics

You will have a comprehensive induction to DPD where we will go through the key processes that are required to make you an amazing Quality Manager.

Your working days will be Monday - Friday however our department operates over a 24 hour period days a week so flexibility will be required

A full UK driving license is essential.
