Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Logistics Trainer to join our Logistics Solutionsteam. In this role you will be responsible for carrying out relevant inductions for all new employees for our LogisticsOperation as well as ensuring that all agency workers have attended and been signed off as inducted as per company policy.

You will deliver quality training to support and improve compliance within the department in relation to Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety and any other training requirements as highlighted by the operation and supporting teams. Due to the nature of our Business and operation this role will require you to work nights, however a certain level of flexibility will be required as at times you may be required to work days or have varied start and finish times.

Other key focuses will be;
  • Communicating with Logistics SolutionsManagement teamsand other areas of the business such as Health and Safety to ensure all departmentspecific training is conducted

  • Maintaining and managingTraining Matrix and training records ensuring they are completed to ensure compliance to both internal and legal requirements.

  • Developing and delivering theAnnual Training Calendar and new content in line with business requirements

  • Providing weekly updates to the DepartmentManagementdetailing current activity and future actions

  • Conduct post training observations to ensure the continuous improvement of all training material and processes


What we're looking for
  • An excellent communicator who can communicate effectively at all levels and in a number of formats.

  • Proven and demonstrable experience of delivering training within a fast paced and pressurised environment

  • Be computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office function or Google Suit.

  • The ability to prioritise and organise workloads effectively in order to achieve deadlines

  • Have a flexible and adaptable approach as commuting between sites may be required

Additional Information

Job Specifics

You will have a comprehensive induction to DPD which will include attendance at a corporate induction.

This role will require you to work evenings and nights.

A full UK driving license is essential.
