Our successful candidate will assist the Service Delivery Manager in the delivery of planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance across both sites, ensuring all buildings and infrastructure are maintained to a high standard - for example the care and protection of our collections. Another key objective will be responding to work requests in a timely manner.

You will demonstrate a basic knowledge of various skills such as decoration, plumbing & carpentry plus any electrical capability would be advantageous. The role will involve working on ladders, using various equipment to access heights and will require some heavy lifting.


The Maintenance Assistants within the Estates & Capital Development Directorate will support our existing capability and follow through on any repair requests from our stakeholders.

This role calls for an individual that has maintenance experience, highly enthusiastic, committed and adaptable to various types of work.
