The Market Rented Specialist will deliver a professional and customer focused tenancy management service for Onward’s portfolio of private market rented and rent to buy / homebuy properties by positively engaging and promoting the services of Onward by being the main point of contact for market rented queries, ensuring that all breaches of tenancy are rectified promptly, managing tenancy renewals and rent increases and ensuring smooth tenant check outs including the preparation of check out reports.

Responsibilities will also include carrying our Landlord duties such as monthly health and safety communal inspections, managing Service Charges including preparing budgets, identifying renewals and consulting and informing residents, ordering and arranging all void works and ensuring Onward are fulfilling lease obligations. 

Ensuring the portfolio is compliant in gas, asbestos, water, and electric (Including PAT testing) certifications. Effectively managing market rented budgets, dealing with all invoicing related to market rented properties, manage repair queries which do not fall under the Schedule of Rates (SOR).

The successful candidate will have experience of residential property management, excellent communication skills, excellent numeracy/analytic skills and competency in dealing with financial information. property management skills and have knowledge of compliances for a landlord and an in depth understanding of managing rent arrears.
