An exciting opportunity to join the Financial Times’ Commercial Marketing team, to deliver global advertiser-facing marketing campaigns to build awareness, educate advertising clients and ultimate drive advertising revenue.
What you will be responsible for
Work across the relevant sales teams to coordinate the production of Google Slide and PowerPoint pitch decks for the global B2B commercial team, ensuring language and formatting are consistent and appropriate.
Liaison with our in-house design studio on the creation of bespoke design elements, sourcing imagery and creation of product mock-ups for these proposals.
Working with the senior marketing manager to support the creation of pre-sales materials for the global B2B commercial team. This includes updating credentials decks, product slides and user journeys.
Working with the senior marketing manager, lead on business-as-usual updates to the commercial.ft.com website, ensuring any developments to the offering are represented in a timely and appropriate fashion.
Updating the internal sales resource website in a timely manner, ensuring the latest collateral is available for the global sales team to access.
Working with the relevant sales lead and senior marketing manager, lead on the creation of case studies for the website and the sales team.
Supporting the team in the setup of email and lead generation campaigns, including liaising with the sales team regarding target lists, setting up of campaigns using Salesforce and setup of campaigns in Pardot (Salesforce’s B2B marketing interface).
Supporting the team to implement and manage the logistics of regular virtual or in-person client client-facing commercial events in the UK & Asia, these include research briefings, editorial-led political briefings and client entertainment linked to key media or vertical events.
Experience/skills you need to be successful in this role
A meticulous eye for detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring all deadlines are met and service levels are maintained.
Self-starter with high energy and initiative.
Ability to build relationships and work effectively across departments within the FT and businesses within the FT group.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrable capability with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Google Slides and PowerPoint.
Strong copywriting skills.
Appreciation of design principles and how they can be applied to presentations and product mock-ups.
A pro-active outlook and willingness to take the initiative and suggest improvements to current work practices.
Experience of marketing within the media industry.
Experience of using Salesforce, or equivalent CRM systems to manage data.
Experience of using Pardot, or equivalent email system to manage email campaigns.
Graduate or professional qualification in Marketing or related Business area is desirable but not essential.
