Job Reference: 184-NARHOP62

Employer: Department: MDT Coordinator Location: Musgrove Park Hospital (currently home based working), Taunton Salary: £21,892 - £24,157 per annum, pro rata

An exciting opportunity has presented itself to join the Cancer Services team as a full time Head & Neck MDT Coordinator for a fixed term period of 10 months to provide Maternity Leave cover.

This role is currently home-based and working remotely, though some elements of the training will be delivered in person at Musgrove Park Hospital. We are looking for someone who is able to confidently communicate with a broad range of colleagues while working remotely, confident running meetings on virtual platforms (i.e. MS Teams), and has knowledge and experience as outlined on the Job Description.

We are looking for an outstanding team player, an individual with an eye for detail, who has the ability to multi-task and independently prioritise their workload, and who is really passionate about providing excellent service for our patients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and running virtual MDT meetings, tracking patients on a suspected cancer pathway, running data quality checks and identifying gaps in patient records. The post holder will also assist with the collection and inputting of patient activity data.

Although the role does not involve direct contact with patients, it involves working with sensitive patient data on a daily basis, and the candidate will therefore need to be fully aware of the importance of confidentiality and information governance.

Please Note: The interviews will be conducted virtually over Skype/MS Teams.
