We have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice. This will be a four year apprenticeship programme within the Estates department, which will involve being a part of the Electro Medical Engineering team.

The programme will be a combination of practical and vocational training equipping the candidate with specialist training in the field of medical device maintenance combined with transferable skills such a literacy and numeracy, IT skills and also a wide knowledge healthcare including anatomy and physiology.

The post is primarily concerned with providing repair, calibration and maintenance to a wide range of medical, diagnostic and therapeutic equipment for use in patient care in the Sussex Community Foundation Trust, to ensure our medical device are safe, and available for our patients.

We are looking for a candidate with a excellent communication skills, a team player, with a passion for electronics and the desire to work within a healthcare setting.
