Hours: Part Time 16hours per week

Salary: £9/hr

Location: Bordesley Green Surgery

We are currently seeking a Part -Time Medical Receptionist.

The successful candidate will be required to work 16 hours per week. Exact hours of work to be confirmed, however flexibility is essential as days/shifts may change to suit Practice needs.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
  • Clinical background essential
  • High standards of customer services and good communication skills
  • Excellent Administration skills
  • Good telephone manner
  • Data inputting, read coding and note summarisation skills are essential

Please note that applicants MUST have experience within a similar position

The role will involve:
  • General administrative duties
  • Dealing with Patients
  • Scanning and logging in documents
  • Inbound and outbound calls
  • Handling prescriptions
To be considered for this role you must have:
  • Have previous experience as a receptionist or Secretary within a medical practice
  • Knowledge of Emis Web (if possible)
  • Excellent I.T skills
  • Good communication skills
  • A friendly and fair manner
  • Experience with handling prescriptions
