The Division of Medicine has a new opportunity available for someone with the appropriate skills and administration experience to join our fast moving, forward thinking Medical Administration Team

We are looking to recruit a Medical Secretary Assistant to work with our Medical Secretaries across the Division. You will be responsible for providing an efficient audio typing service / administrative support and basic secretarial cover as required to meet the changing priorities within the department. This is an ideal post to jump start your career journey towards working as a Medical Secretary if desired.

You will also be required to display tact and diplomacy where appropriate and have excellent communication skills as well as demonstrating a flexible approach to working within a team environment, liaising with other departments and services as well as patients.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic team player and be an experienced typist and must possess GCSE English and Maths grade C and above or equivalent as well as audio typing and word processing skills equivalent to RSA level 2. Training will be given.

Working days will be Monday to Friday 7.5 hours a day.
