Respiratory Medicine, Stoke Mandeville Hospital

25 Hours/Week, Band 3 Salary Range - £19,737 - £21,142 (pro rata)

We are looking to recruit a Medical Secretary, on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (maternity cover) to work as part of a Team of Medical Secretaries in the Department of Respiratory Medicine at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

You will be responsible to the Team Leader for Integrated Medicine and your main responsibility will be to assist in providing a comprehensive, confidential and quality Medical Secretarial Service within the Department.

Experience of word processing and audio-typing is essential, as is the ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge of medical terminology.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous NHS experience in a similar setting and will be familiar with Trust systems, such as Medway.
