An opportunity has arisen for a Medical Secretary within the Gastroenterology department. This is a busy department working closely with the Medical Teams, Nursing Team, Outpatients Department, the endoscopy unit and the wider hospital teams.

This is a key role within the Department. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team player to provide secretarial support to the consultant team within the Gastroenterology department. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the administration needed to support the running of this busy department is completed in a timely way within target timeframes and for the management of 18 weeks and other targets within this speciality. Attention to detail is a must as are excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise and plan.
