We are currently looking for a night Care and Support Worker to join our kind, dedicated and caring team at Friary Court. Friary Court is based one mile from Peterborough City centre and has strong transport links to this. We are also close to local shop facilities..
As a member of our Extra Care scheme you'll be integral to helping our customers to live independently and provide the care and support for them to do so. You'll be an empathetic individual with a natural flair in building relationships with our customers and help them integrate with others within the scheme
This role would suit both experienced or new to the profession care and support workers who are able to join us on a night shift basis. This will be working on a Monday and a Friday night from 9pm -7am.
When you join us at Friary Court we will introduce you to the team, provide you with all the training you need to be successful and all the personal protective equipment you need to work safely.
You will be responsible for supporting both male and female customers with personal care, helping them with tasks such as their shopping and assisting in administering medication. You’ll also maintain their care plans keeping accurate records. Carrying out therapeutic programmes will form part of your work as will liaising with our customers families. You really will be improving lives through your work.

Our ideal candidate will possess a passion for working in the care sector and will appreciate the importance of providing care for elder individuals. You will naturally go that extra mile whilst working as part of our team and take pride in ensuring all your work is to the best of your ability
If you are confident, reliable and interested in supporting people to live independently then you will play an instrumental part of this supportive team.
You will ideally have experience of working with older persons and be flexible in your approach to work. Holding an NVQ level 2 in care and support would be desirable but this is not essential.
