Officer, Grant Management (IC21)

Contract: Permanent, working 35 hours per week (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)

Salary: £27,668 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.

Location: Manchester. (The role will be based at our Manchester office; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members if the team, normally 1-2 days a week)

Arts Council England is looking to hire a Grant Management Officer, and this full-time role comes with an attractive salary of up to £27,668 per annum.

The Arts Council England has an exciting opportunity for a Grant Management Officer to join our team in the UK. This is a full-time role, offering a salary of £27,668 alongside an excellent benefits package to match your commitment to the arts.

The Officer of Grant Management will deliver grant management across all our funding programs, including managing a team of assistants and administrators. You will also support a wide range of post holders involved in the ongoing development and quality assurance of the grant management processes.

During your first few weeks in this Grant Management role, you can expect to begin work on:
  • Line managing a pool of Assistants, giving them advice and support on monitoring grant conditions
  • Overseeing the closing of grants and inputting final report data into our Grant Management System
  • Working within a team of Officers to ensure efficient workload, planning, and overseeing grant operational processes for the wider Investment Support team
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of our grant management service and to the compliance and improvement processes as required.

The ideal Grant Management candidate will have a passion for the arts, previous experience in a similar role, and an understanding of the grants process. We are looking for someone with good management skills who can communicate effectively with their team and others.
