You will be responsible for
•I manage Head Office Facilities, ensuring that colleagues and visitors receive great customer service through our canteen (Food Stop), Reception, Post Room and Cleaning services.
•I support the development of my team and have a robust plan to ensure that all colleagues are supported to be the best that they can be in their individual roles, as a team and as a wider Facilities Team
•I am available to support my team to suit their working shifts
•I ensure that the Canteen (Food Stop) and Cleaning teams work within relevant Food Safety, Health and Safety and COSHH regulations, and that appropriate and accurate records are maintained to demonstrate due diligence
•I ensure that the Facilities Team have current Risk Assessments and SOP's
•I work with Food and Beverage suppliers and with the support of the Food Safety and Product team, ensure that we provide great quality products and menu choices for our SSC colleagues
•I work with suppliers to ensure that we provide competitive services for the SSC - including postage, couriers, printers / photocopiers, stationery, cleaning supplies, name badges, vending and water coolers
•I manage the budgeting, forecasting, reporting and invoicing for Facilities and Canteen
•I am responsible for people safety in the SSC, working with the Retail Safety Manager, Distribution Risk Manager and Group Health & Safety to develop and deliver plans via the Risk Register to support the safety and well being of our office colleagues
•I support SSC induction through the introduction of Facilities and safety procedures at SSC
•I facilitate SSC People Safety Governance meetings, ensuring that meetings are scheduled, minutes documented and next steps managed in line with the plan
•I am the go-to person for Maintenance issues in the SSC - working with the GMM and Tesco Maintenance to ensure that issues are reported and escalated

•Strong Leadership & People Management
•Sound understanding of Food Safety and H&S regulations and practices
•Food Hygiene Level 2(preferable)
•Food Hygiene Level 3 (preferable)
•IOSH Managing Safely(preferable)
•NEBOSH (preferable)
