We are looking for great team players to join the Rural Payments Agency – part of the Department of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Our busy teams help tens of thousands of customers all over the country. You could be involved in a number of diverse tasks to support our customers, including making payments, processing applications, managing documents, providing assistance over the phone or via email or working in our Chief Executive’s office.

The Operational Delivery Apprenticeship is an integrated programme of learning and support that will give you the knowledge, skills and behaviours to become high performing operational professionals in the workplace. It will give you both the theory and the skills to influence the customer experience and deliver higher levels of customer satisfaction within RPA and beyond.

Background and experience are not as important as your energy, enthusiasm and commitment as the apprenticeship will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to be fully competent in this role.

Selection process details

This vacancy is using Success Profiles, and will assess your Behaviours, Strengths and Ability.

After submission of your application, you will be invited to complete a Verbal Reasoning Test and a Numerical Reasoning Test.

The tests are taken online via the CS Jobs website and we will send you an invitation providing full instructions on how to complete the tests. For further guidance please refer to test guidance attached to the job advert.

Please complete the online tests as soon as possible (within 24-48 hours is recommended), the closing date for the tests is 23:59 on 16th December 2019. If you fail to complete the online test before the deadline your application will be withdrawn.
