Our Operational Readiness team is a global team, which supports Global Operations across all regions by managing programs that strengthen the operations ecosystem. The team enables Facebook's growth while continuing to support our community at an unprecedented scale and pace.We are looking for a Program Manager to drive the 'Marketization' strategy for Global Operations. The purpose of this role is to design and implement our marketization strategy throughout implementation with our vendors. This position will work with internal and external stakeholders across teams, creating and implementing the strategic vision for how we identify and execute on the 'marketization' needs of the organization. We are seeking a resilient self-starter with a strong communication skills, collaborative and a proven team player. We value people who can strategically drive the team using macro-level insights, while still caring for micro-level detail. We're targeting an intellectually curious and creative individual who is comfortable operating in ambiguity. A strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. You will work directly with a number of teams including Markets, Global Partner Strategy (GPS), Global Partner Operations and Enablement (GPO&E) Workforce and Readiness (W&R) and will be comfortable reporting upwards to communicate strategy and progress. This role requires the ability to work across different time zones and use analytical rigor to identify and prioritize user pain points.

Operational Readiness Program Manager, Global Operations Responsibilities


  • Provide the strategic direction of Marketization for Global Operations, working with multiple stakeholders in Operations, Product and Policy

  • Facilitate discussion and coordination among relevant stakeholders

  • Establish and maintain an efficient process that facilitates the creation, review and revision of marketization needs

  • Utilizing a prioritization framework to ensure the highest priority marketisation requests are being supported from an operational perspective

  • Continuous improvement of marketization and de-marketization processes

  • Communicate strategy to the broader cross-functional and leadership teams to drive consensus while ensuring those decisions are properly implemented

  • Identify business gaps, problems and process pain-points and implement improvements

  • Facilitate relationships between teams, move initiatives forward, find resources, raise concerns to appropriate owners early and resolve open issues that prevent progress

  • Ability to hold oneself and others accountable when schedule or progress is in jeopardy while maintaining respectful relationships in difficult situations

  • Identify problems, predict roadblocks and obstacles, establishing meetings or integration points between teams

  • Prioritize competing needs with good reasoning and creative solutions

  • Maintain and refine programs and initiatives, establishing best practices, next steps, and outcomes

Minimum Qualifications


  • BA or BS degree

  • 4+ years of experience in a project or program management, management consulting, operations or similar strategic space

  • 4+ years of experience initiating and driving projects to completion independently, with minimal guidance

  • Demonstrated experience leading high profile strategic initiatives

  • Experience influence across functional boundaries and globally

  • Experience communicating to a variety of audiences

  • Analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills

  • Experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
