To support our growing business and operation, we have a fantastic opportunity for an Operations Stock Manager to join our Logistics team. The role is key to ensuring processes and reporting of stock around the business is accurate and supporting stock availability for MATCHESFASHION. Through implementation of new reporting and processes, supporting the implementation of a new WMS- and creating better ways of working as a result, this role will work collaboratively across the business to ensure operations, finance and executive teams have an accurate view of inventory.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Developing and maintaining a regular reporting suite on available stock, adjustments and providing commentary for variances to KPI;
  • Leading action plan for increasing stock availability;
  • Working closely with 3PL providers on stock reporting, stock counts, KPIs and audits, driving YoY improvements;
  • Reviewing process and training documentation and delivering best in class training to 3PL and internal departments for stock management;
  • Leading stock audits on behalf of operational teams (both internal and external) and building an improvement plan alongside Finance and Head of Logistics;
  • Embedding a culture of root cause analysis and corrective action when errors identified;
  • Developing and maintaining a strong working relationship with internal stakeholders (e.g. Warehouse, Stores, Studio, Compliance, Quality Assurance, Finance, Technology, etc.)
  • Championing a continuous improvement culture along with wider logistics team, but leading on incentives;
  • Driving programmes across the warehouse and wider business related to stock management through identifying opportunities to increase stock availability, reduce inefficiency and improve visibility.


Requirements

  • You will demonstrate excellent attention to detail;
  • Be inquisitive and proactively search out improvements;
  • Capable of analyzing large volumes of data and providing fast and accurate information, relevant to the audience;
  • Able to lead and coordinate activities based on business and operational priorities;
  • Effective in communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders (verbal and written), explaining complex issues and processes in a clear, concise and measured manner;
  • Capable of planning and multi-tasking to complete assignments;
  • Adaptable to changing priorities will come as second nature;
  • Demonstrate experience of working in a dynamic operational environment, individually and as part of a professional team;
  • Be quick to act with a proactive and logical approach to problem solving;
  • Maintain performance under pressure;
  • Be confident, disciplined and tenacious;
  • Previous experience in stock and inventory management functions and warehouse systems;
  • Demonstrate an understanding of retail logistics priorities;
  • Passion for driving excellent standards and service;
  • Supply Chain experience in a fashion and ecommerce environment is desired but not essential;
  • All applicants must hold the right to work in the UK.
  • Able to travel to our warehouse based in NW London.
