Description
 

In the field of hazardous waste management, you will be responsible for the worksite assigned to you.




 




Working under the works supervisor, you will perform the following tasks:




Managerial:




-supervise the operatives and assistants making up the team assigned to the worksite


-welcome new employees on the worksite




 




Technical:




-prepare the working and protective equipment required to carry out the works


-before any operation, check that the work to be carried out complies with the requests formulated in the works orders


-mark out the worksite and install the work equipment


-carry out the different operations in accordance with the requests formulated


-ensure that the customer's representative certifies correct execution of the works carried out


-clear up the worksite after completion of works (put equipment away, remove boundary markings, clean the surrounding area)


-if necessary, take any waste to be removed to the waste treatment facility


-on return to the depot, clean equipment and put it away




 




Management:




-complete all the forms and documents related to the worksite


-inform your immediate supervisor by phone at the end of the worksite or operation


-collect payment from the customer


-on return to the depot, report to the works supervisor




 




Safety:




-understand the risks related to your activities, notably those mentioned in the prevention plan


-ensure use of all collective and personal protective equipment


-mark out the worksite in compliance with the safety regulations and traffic regulations/highway code


-ensure that all the people present on the site comply with the safety regulations (assistants, customer and the members of the public)


-wear the personal protective equipment issued


-report accidents and near-accidents


-maintain equipment and keeping track of equipment condition


-in the event of danger, vacate the worksite and issue an alert

Qualifications
 

You have a vocational training qualification and a commercial vehicle and heavy commercial vehicle driver license.




You are also certified to work on small electrical installations (high/low voltage) and transport goods in tanks or packages.


You can work independently and are organized and painstaking. You show adaptability and initiative. You have a good understanding of customer relations and service.
